Bergerette Sans Roch

The “Bergerette Sans Roch”, a renaissance dance piece. It’s a basse danse, published by Tielman Susato (1510-1570). Originally a piece for 4 instruments. It took me a while to get the knack of it, but now I think it works really well as a solo ukulele piece.

I have to announce, that the ukulele e-book shop ( http://www.dsp-arts.com/publishing/shop/Ukulele-E-Books/ ) is going to be closed at the 31th of December, 21:00 GMT. This is due to necessary updates reflecting the 2015 EU VAT changes for digital goods. Unfortunately this is a pretty complicated topic, and I don’t know…

Good Christian Men Rejoice

Another wellknown christmas carol — not very difficult to play. From my e-book Christmas Music with the Ukulele.

I Saw Three Ships

A really easy to play, cheerful old christmas tune. No post processing in the sound (except a very slight volume adaption).

Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring — short version

This short version is also known as a christmas carol. (Yes, it’s also in my english christmas e-book.)

The Three Ravens

An old English song by Thomas Ravenscroft, published in the year 1611.

Zwei tiefe Wasser

Another old German Lied!

Feinsliebchen

A very old German Lied

Minuet in G Major (Christian Petzold)

This wellknown minuet is from the Notebook for Anna Magdalena Bach. I’m using ADF#B tuning in order to play my arrangement in the key of G major. Tabs for this arrangement are in my E-Book Alte Musik mit der Ukulele.

St. James Infirmary Blues

I’m totally clueless when it comes to Blues and Jazz. This piece seemed to be a good starting point for me. I’ll have to learn quite a bit of theory, though, I guess…
