“Die Forelle” by Franz Schubert. Finally another outdoor ukulele video. It was a hot day, so it was nice to be in the shady forest.

A wonderfully weird renaissance dance from the Danserye by Tielman Susato. Played on my new Rubbenstroth soprano ukulele. It’s an incredibly light instrument with perfect intonation and very good playability. This piece will be published in my next e-book with solo arrangements from Tielman Susato’s Danserye. These days I’m tinkering with Susato’s “Danserye” — it contains a lot of interesting renaissance pieces. It was a challenge for me (again), although it may look easy. Hopefully I’ll get the hang of it… Again I derived this solo arrangement from four-part sheet music.
